what is this, anyway?
this is a work in progress. the basic idea is to create a mobile printmaking studio and then drive it around to different places, making art there. this site is documentation of the project. in two years, i will have an exhibition of the work created through this project.
who am i?
my name is michael wilson. i am an artist, currently living in oklahoma. a printmaker. a romantic.
why am i doing this?
to bring studio practice out of the isolation and protection of the artist's studio, to confront the everyday reality of living a life with the fact of being an artist. because i am curious how this project, along with my work, will evolve. because i am an adventuresome sort who craves freedom.
