went to noble with my friend michael c. today to attack the vicious and tricky carburetor monster. it almost got the best of us, brandishing a quite impressive fire in the air cleaner shortly after we started. boy was that exciting! nothing quite like a real experience to get the blood moving. got it put out with a towel, no melty wires or anything. now the new battery is dead, but the clogs seem to be working loose. the battery is charging as i write. of note: someone was mowing the lawn so i couldn’t hear all the dogs barking today.
